What both do well
Both bring your guests’ photos together in one private album, so you don’t have to ask everyone to send their photos afterwards. Both show new photos live during the party, on a projector or screen, and with both you download the whole album afterwards.
And both come from a European company: WedShoots belongs to Bodas.net (Wedding Planner S.L., Spain), Snap-e to Flow-e BV in Belgium.
Where WedShoots is the better choice
If you don’t want to pay anything and your guests don’t mind an app. WedShoots is completely free, and guests upload as many photos as they like. With Snap-e, the free Cosy package is limited to 50 photos and 20 guests.
If your guests love filters, likes and comments. WedShoots has Instagram-style filters, and you can share the album via WhatsApp.
If you already use Bodas.net to plan your wedding. WedShoots is part of the same platform.
Where Snap-e is stronger
No app: guests scan a QR code and join straight away in the browser. They don’t have to search an app store or type in an album code, which helps especially with older guests or guests from abroad.
In Dutch: Snap-e works in English, Dutch and French. The WedShoots app is available in eight languages, but not in Dutch.
Moderation and a real live wall: inappropriate photos are filtered automatically, you can hold photos until you approve them, and the live wall runs on up to three screens at once.
Not just for weddings: also for birthdays, parties and company events, with your own branding for businesses.
